DVD AND WORKBOOK TEACHING METHOD
I firmly believe that your driving lessons are a shared responsibility and I always encourage my pupils to take some ownership of their training. Turning up prepared for your lesson really makes a difference!
This self preparation really saves you money. So how does it work?
It's quite simple really. All you have to do is prepare yourself for your next driving lesson by reading the book and watching the DVD. The book has a quiz at the end of each driving lesson subject to test that you have understood everything. You can check you got the answers correct at the back of the workbook.
Then you can watch the DVD and see for yourself exactly what you will be practising on your next lesson with your instructor.
So how does it save me money?
Preparing yourself for your driving lesson means that your instructor can cut down the amount of time spent briefing the pupil on the driving lesson subject, which means you spend more time actually driving the car and less time being briefed in a parked position. This potentially can save you around 7 hours (approx £150) over the 40 hours tuition that an average pupil requires to be ready for their driving test. Well worth the small outlay on the DVD and Workbook don't you think!
Not only is the training far more effective because you get more actual practice time on each lesson, the practice you do get is also far more productive because it is carefully planned with a well structured delivery.
Less stress more fun
In addition the training is far less stressful because you know what to expect. You have seen it before on the DVD and practised it in your mind. Throwing people in at the deep end rarely works and only serves to make the learning process uncomfortable and stressful.
